KTVC Jitume Digital Hub Officially Launched
Kipkabus Technical and Vocational College (KTVC) proudly launched its Jitume Digital Hub in a colourful ceremony attended by government officials, industry partners, students, and staff.
The Jitume Hub is equipped with modern computers, high-speed internet, and digital learning resources that will enable students to gain skills in software development, digital marketing, online freelancing, and data entry. This initiative aligns with Kenya's national agenda of creating a digitally empowered workforce.
"This is a game changer for our students," said the Principal during the launch. "The Jitume Digital Hub will open doors that were previously inaccessible to many of our learners from the rural parts of Uasin Gishu County."
Students will now have access to platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, and other global remote work marketplaces, allowing them to earn income while still in school. The hub also provides training in cybersecurity, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence basics.
