KTVC Partners with Local Industry for Student Attachments
Kipkabus Technical and Vocational College has entered into formal partnerships with five leading companies in Uasin Gishu and the greater Rift Valley region to provide structured industrial attachment opportunities for its students.
The Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed during a ceremony at the college, with representatives from manufacturing, construction, hospitality, and ICT sectors in attendance.
These partnerships ensure that students gain real-world experience that complements their classroom and workshop training. Industrial attachment is a mandatory component of KTVC's CBET programs, typically spanning 3 to 6 months.
The Principal noted that these partnerships demonstrate the confidence industry has in the quality of KTVC graduates. "Our students come out with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, making them immediately employable," he said.
